Sometimes the subject for an oil painting comes from the strangest location. Daniel kicked off his shoes to go to the kitchen. They landed in a pile, in this patch of sunlight. Who am I to ignore serendipity? I did this image once in acrylic for a company who wanted me to prove I could paint. The image was okay but I wanted to do it in oil so I did. This is the oil paint version.
